Honours for MediScan
- Prof. Suresh S awarded 'D.Sc. Honoris Causa' by the Dr. MGR Medical University (year) in recognition of his contribution to medicine and the huge volume of work that is being done.
- Prof. Suresh S awarded the "Life time achievement award" in February, 2012 at the 3rd convocation of the Tamil Nadu by Dr MGR Medical University
- Dr. Sujatha Jagadesh participated in the ICBDSR (International Clearing house for Birth Defects Surveillance and Research) meet held at Geneva in September 2011, representing "Birth Defects Registry of India"
- Successful delivery of healthy identical twins in May 2011 at Mediscan by Drs S. Suresh, Indrani and Subapriya in partnership with Dr. Hepsiba of the Govt. RSRM Hospital, Chennai . The highlight of this case was that the mother had a Monochorionic triplet pregnancy of which one was a acardiac acephalic baby and the two other healthy babies had to be saved and delivered safely.
- Prof. Suresh S awarded the "2011 WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY AWARD" in August 2012 for outstanding contribution as a medical professional in the field of Down Syndrome.
